Managing Organizational Change in an Intercultural Environment

In some cultures, people struggle a bit more with these fast and constant changes, which of course have a major impact on the way the organization needs to handle the necessary transformations. In this training we will therefore have a close look at the intercultural impacts on organizational change, and develop successful strategies for those challenging situations. The following topics will be discussed in detail during the training:

  • Cultural differences towards the adaptability and openness to change
  • Intercultural criteria that can potentially affect organizational change
  • Strategies to facilitate the adaptation of transformations
  • Development of international organizations
  • Necessities and benefits of organizational change
  • Impact of cultural stereotypes while managing organizational change
  • Analysis of specific situations and discussing graphic examples
Benefits:

The training has the aim to sensitize the participants for the intercultural impacts of organizational change. However, instead of seeing interculturality as a big obstacle for transformations in a company, it will be discussed which advantages can arise from the fact, that people from different cultures work together in an organization which needs to go through major transitions. The participants can therefore learn about some strategies to facilitate the management of organizational change in an intercultural work ambience.
